Grilled carrots w/ agave – coconut palm sugar glaze

Ingredients

10 carrots

1/4 cup BBF agave syrup

1/4 cup BBF Coconut palm sugar

3 Tbsp coconut oil or butter

Salt for sprinkling

Directions

1. Prepare the carrots by washing and peeling

2. Prepare the glaze for the carrots by adding the butter, agave and coconut palm sugar into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Add the carrots to the grill and cook. The carrots should take around 15-20 minutes on the grill, until they are fork tender.

4. Once the carrots are cooked through, using a spoon or brush, brush the carrots with the glaze on both sides. remove the carrots from the grill and serve.
