Slow Cooked Steel Cut Oats

Ingredients

1 Cup steel cut oats

4 Cups unsweetened almond milk

2 apples, chopped

1 tsp BBF organic virgin coconut oil

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

2 Tbsp BBF organic agave

Splash lemon juice

4 Scoops vanilla protein powder (optional)

Directions

1. Add all ingredients to your slow cooker. Stir.

2. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.**

3. Give it a good stir.

4. Store leftovers in fridge for up to 1 week. To reheat add a splash of almond milk and protein powder and heat up in microwave.

**We cook ours overnight so it is ready in the morning.
