What is Oatsome?

Oatsome is a delicious, creamy, plant-based milk alternative. It’s awesome. Oatsome is made from Gluten-Free, Organic oats with no gums, thickeners or stabilizers. Did we mention it’s awesome?

What makes Oatsome different?

Oatsome has the best creamy taste and texture that no other non-dairy milk alternative possesses. It’s also fabulously frothable and has the ability to foam so is the perfect ingredient for lattes, cappuccinos, smoothies…We could go on.

Can I use Oatsome in coffee?

Yes, wherever you use milk you can use Oatsome. Oatsome is super-foamy and frothable so it’s perfect for any hot drink.

Are there any gums in Oatsome?

No. Never. Nope.

Why does Oatsome taste so sweet when there is no added sugar?

We use natural enzymes to break down the starches in the oats. Some of these starches are converted to sugars – which makes Oatsome naturally sweet without adding sugar. We know – great isn’t it?

Why do you use whole oats and not oat bran?

It’s all about that taste, ’bout that taste. Using whole oats gives you the best possible flavor and end product.

How do you source your ingredients?

We only choose suppliers who meet our incredibly high standards for Organic, Gluten-Free and non-GMO.

Do you pasteurize Oatsome?

Yes, so you can get more use from Oatsome, we use UTH (ultra-high-temperature) pasteurization to extend the shelf life.

Does Oatsome contain MSG?


I am allergic to wheat, eggs, peanuts, milk, tree nuts, fish, shellfish and/or soybeans. Are your products safe for me to consume? Is there a risk of cross-contamination?

Our products don’t contain any of those listed ingredients and there’s no risk of cross-contamination.

Are your cartons BPA free?

Yes, they are.

Are the cartons microwaveable?


Is your packaging recyclable? What is it made from?

We use Tetra Pak cartons, which are made from cardboard lined with aluminum foil and with a layer of PET plastic. However, some cities don’t recycle Tetra Paks, so check with your city’s waste program and urge your city to recycle them if it doesn’t already.

What is so unique about the packaging?

Oatsome is packaged in what’s called aseptic packaging, which means both the delicious milk inside and the packaging itself are 100% sterile during the filling process. This means you get a great tasting product that doesn’t have to be refrigerated before opening.

Does Oatsome need to be refrigerated before opening?

Oatsome only needs to be refrigerated after opening.

Does Oatsome require refrigeration?

Only after opening the Oatsome container.

How long will Oatsome stay fresh after it's opened?

7-10 days when stored in the fridge.

How do I read the expiration date on the packaging?


Is Oatsome safe to consume if it is expired?

We don’t recommend consuming Oatsome after it’s expired.

Can I cook with Oatsome?

Yep, wherever you use milk, you can use Oatsome. This includes recipes that call for dairy milk or another non-dairy alternative.
